N3D Story

Founder Eliot climbed Qilai Mountain when he was in college. During the climb, he fell off a cliff due to a collapse of the path. He lost consciousness on the spot, and his companions did not notice the accident.

When Eliot woke up, he found that his ribs were broken, and he had lost his important backpack. As the temperature dropped, he began to show symptoms of hypothermia and headache. “The situation was desperate at that time. My ribs hurt so much that I couldn’t scream. And I kept hearing the wind howling in the mountains. I even thought about jumping down and ending the pain early.” Eliot recalled.

Fortunately, an indigenous hunter passed by and noticed something wrong. Eliot was lucky to be rescued. This experience did not extinguish Eliot’s passion for nature. Today, with his expertise in the semiconductor industry, Eliot decided to develop an outdoor safety solution to ensure that everyone who loves mountaineering can safely descend.

N3D stands for Next 3 Days, echoing the golden 72 hours of rescue. It hopes to combine software and hardware and artificial data systems to provide users with professional and sufficient information and suggestions based on the environmental changes and personal resource physiological signals of outdoor activities, to help users make judgments and reduce the risk of accidents.
